A picture of Sally

Welcome! I’m Sally — a former computer programmer, stay-at-home mom, and adjunct math professor.

Around 2006 I was introduced to the Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF). The group is based on the research of Dr. Weston A. Price and recommends eating natural, nutrient dense, and unprocessed foods. Eventually I joined a food club, and then some friends and I started our own food club. I learned so much from others. We swapped books and talked about food sources and traditions. My friends and I attended various classes, conferences, workshops and festivals.

I also enjoy permaculture. I’m developing a food forest on my small suburban lot. I live in Maryland, about an hour north of Washington, D.C.

One of my paw paw trees. The fruits taste like a combination of banana, mango, and cantaloupe. Paw paws are the largest edible fruit native to North America, they can weight up to one pound each.
